LaborDay

SMS terms

The terms of the LaborDay text message program. By opting in, you agree to them.

Program name

LaborDay, operated by its founder as a sole proprietor.

What the texts are for

LaborDay sends birth-day notifications on behalf of a Planner who added you to her birth plan. Each text carries the Message she wrote for you and a private link to your own page with the details. The texts are transactional; LaborDay never sends marketing.

Message frequency

One confirmation text when you opt in, and one Message per Dispatch, when the Planner activates her plan. Most Recipients receive two texts in total. If the Planner updates your Message before labor, you may receive one updated confirmation.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. LaborDay does not charge Recipients.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any LaborDay text to opt out. You will receive one final text confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and your number will not be texted again by LaborDay, from any plan. Opting out means you will not receive the Planner's Message when labor starts.

Help

Reply HELP to any LaborDay text for help. Reply HELP to any LaborDay text.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your phone being reachable.

Your number

By opting in you confirm that you own or control the mobile number you provide. Opt in only for your own number. If your number changes, reply STOP from the old one and ask the Planner for a new invite.

Privacy

How your number and opt-in are handled is in the privacy policy. Mobile numbers and opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date.
